It was a fantastical world that was created on Living Island aka known as Winnipeg. H.R. Pufnstuf aka Mayor Sam Katz was hypnotized by Wilhelmina W. Witchiepoo into thinking that turning the magical Assiniboine Avenue into a topsy turvy world for little Jimmy (residents and taxpayers) and Freddy the Flute (alternative media) to have fun getting home.
Thankfully, Freddy the Flute shrilly blew his whistle until the black magic ended and order was partly restored to Assiniboine Avenue.
However, Freddy has to keep blowing because Witchiepoo continues to use magic around Living Island. "We must be ever vigilant and reverse the bad magic wherever we see it", says Freddy.
